Not heard of Evans but ex Everton and according to wiki is out of contract this summer. Aware of McKirdy, who looks a talent. Imagine he'll have suitors higher up than L1.
League 2 seems to be a hotbed for young creative midfielders and strikers at the minute. More so than ever. And midfield creativity is what we've missed more than anything in my opinion. Though I do think Aitchison and Kane will have a big part to play next season, alongside Wolfe. A lot has been made of our strikeforce, but Morris and Woodrow would score tons more if they had better service. I think we can adequately replace either of them (presuming they'll leave) if we bolster the midfield, and wing back positions sufficiently. I'd love for us to go for Matty Longstaff. I believe he's out of contract at Newcastle but has previously featured in the first team. He's scored and assisted 8 goals in 16 games on loan at Mansfield in the 2nd half of this season.
