Not a fan of cider either to be honest, it limits itself a bit being 'the cider boat'. Yeh next to 3 brothers. I know what you mean about there, very popular with students but the burgers are a bit average. Great beers (and fried pickles!) though. I am sorry to hear she hasn't been well, hopefully you will be able to get out and about before too long. Another wide open space - Ashton Court! Not sure if you've been? Great for a long walk, see the deer then walk over the bridge into Clifton via Leigh Woods (if you have the energy for a second walk!).

anyone use a PD machine? had 1 around a year now, keg range is limited but some belting drinks on it, not the uk licensed crap either, even the pukka brewed stella is nice, belgian leffe range is good, dare not try the ritual 9% beer hawk released a french ale today, castelain grand cru 8.5% i'm on my back after 4 leffe blondes! but at nearly £4 a pint supping at home?
If you like stouts then try BREWDOG VS EVIL TWIN - ROASTER COASTER It’s sometimes in Morrisons and sometimes Tesco - it’s neither cheap nor weak coming in at 9% It’s also got a widget in the can so it pours like Guinness
i've just put on a punk ipa keg on, really smoother than what i've had in pubs just had a danish ipa brewed by mikkeller called heated seat which was refreshing, but it lived up to it's name as i couldn't stop farting the next day
Had a keg stout called "catch me if you can" last night, 11.5% very nice with chocolate overtones but a little sweet for me. Properly did for my legs, what with the hot weather in Madrid....

I'm a Barnsley fan and run a couple of shops and bars of my own in London that specialise in this gear. www.craftmetropolis.co.uk If you want any recommendations: Beak are utterly smashing it at the moment, Pressure Drop are also killing it at making the hoppy stuff. If you like lagers then Lost and Grounded are probably seen as the UK's best makers of Helles & Pils etc. There's a huge interest in sour beers at the moment with lost with real fruit additions. Lots of cider drinkers who aren't beer lovers seem to be fans of this style and Vault City and Pastore do some insane stuff. All do entry level stuff all the way up to the crazy beer-nerd level. We sell all these but you can get them all over the internet and some supermarkets - but seek out your local beer shop if you can as they need your coin more than Tesco. There's a cracking one near my dad in Mapplewell run by a fella called Jay (? from memory).
Had a couple of orders from you (plus buy from Bottle & Co) and would recommend both to anyone. It was actually your dad that put me onto you - top man!
