Just got this from Football League World who have the info from this tweet: However, journalist Alan Nixon has shared an update claiming that the club now have a list of five final candidates and have approached them all to make contact. The club have asked the potential managers to fill out a questionnaire to check their compatibility with the club to ensure they don’t waste time with someone who’s on a different page to them. Whilst it’s unknown who all the names on the shortlist are, Nixon names Michael Duff as well as Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink who is currently manager at Burton Albion and Chesterfield’s Paul Cook.
Hope its not cook done nothing at Chesterfield this time round did well with wigan overspending. Duff hopefully.
Of the names linked only Duff appeals to me.If we went down the overseas route Jon Dahl Tomasson stands out with Hannes Wolf just for Jedi.
Aye champion Paul cook and his one man war against radio Sheffield poor sods at chesterfield get barely any coverage as it is without cook throwing his teddy out of pram with radio Sheffield
Sure they were alot higher when he took over. Started off really well and dropped off to be fair Chesterfield should be up there really in the national league. They finished 7th just making the play offs
Duff the only one there that really interests me. JFH would be my second choice if I was pushed to make one from that group. If not Duff, would be nice to see Big Mick in dugout but no way he would take on a head coach role so that would be a pipe dream.
