There will certainly be those sort of people. And I worry more in the north. Some of the people I've spoken with over the last 6 months who I know vote tory would never vote for Johnson again. I suspect we'll see a swing to lib dems in the south and tory heartlands but then up to labour to win back some of the northern marginals.
I agree some weeks he does but at the same time he leaves far too much wriggle room in my opinion .... he needs a personally transplant another kinnock in my opinion ... And that's me who's voted Labour all his life....
I think what will bring Johnson and the Tories down is the food price rises and energy price rises. Both of which - although they could take action to help - aren’t directly down to them (apart from the effects of Brexit but let’s not go there).
This is a growing problem in my view. I don't need a PM to make me laugh, or have a personality. I want them to make sound judgements that make the country benefit. I'm no particular fan of Starmer, but he's a grown up and I'd always vote for him ahead of the Convict. And sadly, there's only so far you can go in the commons given the protocols are that you can't call a liar a liar. Apparently you aren't even supposed to refer to the queen in parliament. Bizarre.
Significant change occurs at points of pain. Sometimes just moving away from pain is enough. But moving towards something good will generate more significant change. We're about to endure pain, or large parts of the country are. The question will be whether there is something more pleasurable to move towards as well.
‘Strong.’ Most strong leaders are attractive because they offer what seem to be easy answers. In the long run they don’t do too well.
I have to say that if Angela Rayner was the leader of the Labour Party he would be shitting bricks. Elections are won by leaders & not as much by policies, as they really should be. She has the ability to relate to the electorate more than Starmer. I hope they don't both fall on their swords over Partygate.
The question he wasn't asked and should have been is, Why do / did you think it was OK for your staff to have leaving drinks (parties) when you prevented every other person leaving their jobs in the lockdowns from doing the same? Including some doing much more dangerous and stressful jobs than trying to make sure you've got your trousers on before you leave the house.
Aside from him being selfish, a liar and a narcissist (amongst other things), how is he that thick? And why doesn’t he have anyone to advise him? Obviously the only sane reaction to that statement is exactly what you just said. This was a pre planned written speech.
Obviously he reverts to type as soon as possible. What has politics come to in this country, I feel ashamed that there are still eejits that fall for his $hit€ and vote for him and his corrupt party.
And on 18th June 2020, the day of the leaving do, I'd not seen my missus for 2 months after she had been taken into hospital. Yes I am still fu(king angry and will be till the day they are all kicked out
Your quite right but unfortunately theres too many self serving ass lickers who care more about their careers' if he did get ousted the very same people would be coming out saying he had to go and putting a dagger between his blades' they certainly need to do something because at the moment the house of commons is an absolute cesspit..
