Always amazes me when I leave a stadium and people are talking about how many shots a team had. who gives a flying f.

1 shot is all you need.

    Special midfield those 3.

Toni Kroos I am convinced is one of the most underrated players of recent years. If he played for Liverpool he would be lauded as a genius.

Well he is right in that you only need one shot and Real defended really well and took one of only 2 serious chances well. But their Keeper was inspired and it’s surely a valid question for a Journalist to ask I don’t know why he stormed out of the interview.

He would have been best of just praising Courtois. That they deserved to win because the best performance of the game was by a Real Madrid player.

He should just enjoy the win, the mardy cuπt. Liverpool much the better side on the night and but for Courtois having an astonishing game, they'd have won the thing easily. As a neutral, I couldn't care less - it was a decent game & that's all I'm bothered about.

Agreed. Liverpool by far the better team. It just wasn't their night.

Good to see players giving a bit back. Media people ask stupid questions all the time. All they had to say was in the knockout stages we beat in consecutive matches the champions of Germany and the best three teams England have.

So true, I still remember watching him when he was at Bayern against arsenal in champions League. Was one of the best midfield performances I've ever seen. He was sublime that day.

Had many a performance like that since too. Such a classy footballer

I’m still confused about what Courtois said about respect.

When he played in the EPL, he was a great keeper - could see he was world class easily. Not sure why he didn’t think he had that respect?!?!

Something about him not being named in the top 10 keepers? Whatever bee he had in his bonnet about it worked wonders for Real Madrid!!
