Yes but another shocker the 1st Huddersfield pen shout was debatable the 2nd was a stone wall.

I'm not so sure, it looks to me that O'Brien initiated the contact and tried to 'buy' the decision.

Huddersfield fans can moan all they want but they easily forget all the luck they had against Luton in the semi finals. 1st incident today was not a penalty IMO, 2nd incident was a penalty but that shouldn't excuse their performance which for 70 iut of 90 minutes was absolutely pathetic.

It's not fit for purpose imho. I like goal line technology as that's a definitive. Rest is down to someone's opinion. So leave it to the Ref.

That time Huddersfield scored against us direct from a throw in that didn't touch anyone.

    Remember that?

To have Var in the final and then not use it correctly in my opinion seemed stupid surely John moss should have at least gone over to the screen and checked it himself.

I felt it should have been a penalty, the second one. Looked it in real time, and replays confirmed it. No idea how that’s been looked at by other human beings at Stockley Park and not been deemed a foul.

The first shout was also a foul, but minimal contact, and the lad went down like Klinsmann which never helps the cause.

Harsh on Town. But they never troubled the Forest goal all afternoon. Both them and Luton are hard working sides who’ve done tremendously well to reach the playoffs, but much like us last year, they weren’t easy on the eye. Neither were Forest today, in a bit of a non-event really. But they’ve been spectacular to watch for the majority of this season and definitely deserve promotion.

Has to go down as one of the worst championship play of finals in history. Just a complete non event. Forest just edged it but very low on quality. Town won't be near the top 6 next season playing that negative brand of football.

Just seen the penalty incidents again and I still don't think either of them were. In the second clash O'Brien, for me, moves his leg across the Forest lad's and causes the contact.
    Opinions eh?

Gurnham Singh …. He actually came out for an interview after the game, watched a replay of the incident and still said it touched a Barnsley player even though the video clearly showed it didn’t!!

Funny in it, cos I thought both were Pens. He may not have made contact on the first but was still a foul to me. There was no attempt to play the ball just the man.

I thought they were both pens as well. Soft like but still pens.

Second one was absolute stonewall. First debatable but there was contact.

Both would have been pens at Anfield.

Harry Junior (a Town Season-Ticket Holder, I know, I tried but failed miserably) reckons they were "this season's Barnsley" and isn't looking forward to next season one bit!
