Says Doug O'Kane regarding some of the managerial job applicants. So who can these be?. Colins retired so we can count him out. Big Mick has evidently said he would never come back to manage us. We've got Redfearn who now manages womens football. After these names I'm struggling to think who with previous links to Barnsley could the potential manager be. Any thoughts out there.
Doesn't the EFL website have a section that lists all those out of work? With Colin retired I can't think of anyone I would want to be our head coach who has been here previously.
Could be absolutely anyone mate. It doesn't necessarily mean managed elsewhere before. But coaching/coached at other clubs. Watson Thompson Agnew Eden. Just a few.
Mick McCarthy or Neil Warnock. I wouldn't want the first but the latter would be nice. Don't think the latter would be interested but not sure.
Blimey, Trev! You're talking about a Barnsley Head Coach who successfully won automatic promotion from Division 1 in the recent past (the only time that's been achieved since promotion to the Premier League 25 years ago). Whose team played open, attacking, winning football that was unbeaten at home for the first, and only, time since 1968. Under Daniel Stendel we also had the best defence not only in Division 1, but in the entire EFL. But he is German, so 'we' don't want him!
I'll just have a half of what you've been drinking, Jesus, i've seen some stupid suggestions on here, but yours is outstanding!!!!!!!
