Arrived in London at 8-30am and made our way towards the Mall. Massive crowds everywhere, all parks full and closed so ended up in Trafalgar Square. Absolutely heaving Stood there 4 hours and saw nothing apart from the fly pass. Lol
Maybe have the top 20 on the civil list and as new sprogs come along, relegate a few and give them a parachute payment for a couple of years. After that they're on their own. I'm sure I've come across this idea somewhere else but can't think where.
Prince Andrew to miss Thanksgiving service due to going down with Covid 19. Bl00dy autocorrect....... due to going down on Chloe, 17.
Got to say this, having witnessed this evening in my village. I’m not particularly one for banging the Royal Family drum. I think they have a purpose, but I also think the whole thing needs cutting back. However, Queen Elizabeth evidently means alot to alot of people. This evening I’ve been in the company of numerous older people who I know through a project I’ve run. All of them came out independently (i.e not organised by me). All of them over 80, who are on their own, who have ventured out just to be part of it. Sitting outside, blankets, flags, flasks. Duplicate that across the country - that’s a huge amount of otherwise isolated/ lonely people out in their communities enjoying themselves. For anyone hating the monarchy - carry on, I get it. But please let people enjoy this weekend. It’s making people happy.
I don’t get hate in any form, I get disagreeing or strongly disagreeing with the monarchy though. Each to their own. But have also had a great time with my neighbours. And don’t understand anyone begrudging that. Yes we could all meet at any time. But today, on an extra bank holiday and a decent enough reason got us all together. And we’re all happier and better for it.
Must admit that I know sod all about the celebrations, apart from seeing pubs and a few houses with flags, bunting and the like. Just got back from a holiday in Cornwall, nothing happening on our street. It is a none event for us, I'm afraid to say.
No interest from me. In favour of a stripped down monarchy that actually works for the people. The current set up doesn't. I don't want a president, as I dread even more who that would be. Under the current climate Farage or May? God help us. Between a rock & a hard place.
Would be in favour of David Attenborough though, but would never take it, just like Mick wouldn't take our gig.

Everyone you say?? Strangely this beyond parody rag went with this headline and from the footage I saw it’s a blatant lie I heard cheers for these two unlike the PM who even the BBC had to acknowledge wasn’t popular.
Blimey that Meghan Markle really is unpopular isn't she. Gets booed for so long they're still booing when the prime minister walks past
