Good it means he's nowhere near Oakwell. I still haven't forgiven him for not squaring the ball whilst we were 3-2 up against Stockport.
Good luck to him. Really well thought of within football and has gone about getting his coaching experience the right way. Tough gig at Crawley but will lead to better things in 2-3 years if he can bring some stability and a decent brand of football. Can see him being the one who replaces Ainsworth at Wycombe eventually. Wouldn’t be surprised if his name got mentioned at Oakwell but deemed too soon for us.
Don't understand the stick he's getting. Was the brightest sparks in one of the worst teams I've seen at Oakwell. Always worked hard and never shirked. Would have done better with better players around him.
Pretty much how I remember him. Used to get me off my seat now and again, which wasn't the case for most players back then. Impressive to see that he's flourished in the world of coaching despite the obvious obstacles.
Ohh dear, hes been sacked already by the mighty Crawley. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63194763
Paul Gibbs used to have the same effect on me but it was normally for the gates and the walk up grove street.
