As much as I'd like to see Warnock get the job....I'm not banging the drum and shouting his name from the roof tops ...lol
I made that mistake with Spacman and look how bad that turned out lol

Along those same lines Shed, I thought Viv Anderson (with Danny) was a cracking big name appointment in 1993.
And again, look at how that turned out lol.

Managers are held up as saviours, yet results rely on recruitment, player mentality, player quality and squad depth just as much as manager recruitment.
Miracle workers are few and far between and very rarely does lightning strike twice.
If we get a coach who is passionate for the club (and I don’t mean by going mental on the touch line) and who is either protecting a reputation or building one, then that’s all we can realistically hope for.
Hoping for an announcement this week.

Totally agree Acido ...its a gamble either way ...saying that no doubt most on here could/ would have done a better job than the last two lol
Whoever gets the Gig the weight of expectancy will lay heavy on his shoulders let alone the clubs hierarchy.
I'd hate to be in Khaleds shoes, get this one wrong and many in town will be baying for blood never mind his head

If he gets it wrong this time, Khaled will have to walk the plank blindfolded while eating loads of his own flatbreads. Not a pleasant prospect lol.
