    Not even a bank holiday for a large part of the population.
    Most companies don't recognize it as one and its a normal working day

    The random sample of 2 the one I work for and the on the Mrs is current working with are recognising it. I don’t know any that normally recognise the end of May holiday that didn’t take Friday
    Maybe I’m just in a small bubble?

    It seems to me that almost all office based companies are recognising it as a bank holiday and closing whilst most in the public facing service, retail and hospitality industries are recognising it is a bank holiday and thus giving time off in lieu to employees but are opening for business just like they do for most other bank holidays really.

    Regretting not thinking in advance that we should have gone to London for the jubilee concert tonight. It looks like it would be a great night.

    Yep, I love Rod Stewart's music, but just like Paul McCartney, his voice has gone, and just like with Paul McCartney, someone should do him a favour and tell him.

    Good show was that. Not a theatre fan so the SALW stuff was the least appealing part for me. Something for everyone on the bill.

    Andre Bocelli stole the show for me , although Diana Ross at 78 can still hold a tune , Rod Stewart needs to call it a day but was worth the comedy value he was that bad

    Have to say, the people who put together the light projections onto the palace are seriously good at what they do. It was breathtaking. And those drone light displays, wow!
