    Just read the report on BBC sport page and no mention of zoom call and no bitterness from Jimmy. He said he was flattered to be approached, happy at Burton and now wants to concentrate on the job in hand.
    Thinking about it and after all the excitement is he really what we need. Last season Burton only finished 16th in 1st division.
    Might keep an eye on Burton gut feeling says he might be gone by Christmas if they don't start well.
    How often do we see that happening.
    Let's all agree to ignore Nixon.
    Move onto next candidate?

    We don't even know if it got to the interview stage.He might have been asked if he's interested and although flattered he's happy where he is.According to the Burton forum he does commute from London.The zoom thing comes over as a dig about the recent board meeting.Barnsley said they spoke to him Jimmy said he spoke to us so why need to zoom call.

    I had a business Teams call this past Monday at 15:00 with someone in Australia. They never showed, so I went to watch TV. They called about 2 hours later to apologize, as an emergency had arisen at work. We moved the call to the next day. We're still friends. I never told Nixon about this,

    EDIT: After reading another post from @Marc, I had to update this from a Zoom call to a Teams call, for accuracy. :)

    Let's face it we had two managers in one season, plus a caretaker twice, had the second worst season in our history, and our best players are about to be sold. The job at Oakwell is hardly a glowing opportunity when viewed from the outside. In the scale of things we are a much bigger club than Burton, yet their coach prefers to stay put. We might need another shortlist soon.

    I'm desperately trying to keep up now but in terms of the ones who have definitely 100% been confirmed by the club as being part of the final process are the only ones left Duff (who is also a target for Blackpool) and the Defending Corners Coach from Man Utd?

    Zoom calls should be banned (works meeting) . I ended up with a 2 week suspension and 1yr final written. (Long story) Fecking joke as I'd been targeted. Reason too daft to laugh at. (couldn't be arsed to appeal) . Discussed it amongst many other things with the CEO a while after, and she thought same.
