Poor to lose that from such a strong position.

We don't deserve to win though, when we're allowing the opposition 213 - 5. :(

Very poor - we needed 32 off the last 4 overs with 6 wickets left. All we needed to do was to knock it around for 1s and 2s.

They got 68 off their last 4 overs.

Really, really disappointing and poor cricket from Yorkshire.

They are our bogey team in any form of the game. To lose seven wickets for fifty seven runs is piss poor and unacceptable. Our high earning coaching staff need to start earning their cash and Rashid needs to spend more time in the nets.

Thought it would be academic, but it was a mistake to bowl first. Lancs have looked more comfortable defending than chasing. The two games they won batting second, one was after bowling Leics out for a cheap score, and still having a wobble in the chase, and the other would’ve been lost against northants but for a wide ball on the last ball.

Quite frankly our overall record in t20 cricket is a disgrace. Different season same *****.

6 dot balls in one over cost us more than owt.
    Our death bowling was cack.
    A miss hit from Willey.
A bit more power (not much) in the last ball.

Any one of those we get right, we win. And
I reckon it would have been a happier board.

Fine margins between winning and losing. A touch more elevation and it's a six.

Still that would just mask over our overall performance in t20 cricket which is gash.

Willey mentioning losing players to England. He, Rashid and Malan all go to Holland next week. We will already have Root, Bairstow and Brook with the test side.

Yes it was close but I’ve not been so angry watching a cricket match for a long time. It was a big run chase but it was pretty much in the bag until that late clatter of wickets. I hate losing matches like that, especially to that lot over the Pennines. Incredible number of sixes and really entertaining, just the wrong result AGAIN!!

You have to wonder if we would have won it with Brook and Allen in the side?

Would’ve thought so, but then again, you might not have got the innings from Kohler-Cadmore if Allen is playing, as he might’ve got a similar score but of an over or so extra balls.

I was surprised to see Bess and Rashid so low down the order, especially given the required rate was down to a manageable level once Willey got out. Thought one of them would’ve come in and just knocked it around a bit and reached the target without much of a risk.

Or if he’d managed to middle it. Was there to be hit, but he edged it.

just got home and gutted, really hoped the last slog foot clipped the rope, even if a in few yards for sky ads,
strength in batting deep lacking and feel vasbert jr only sent in due to that hoping he could slog a few, rachid would have at least clipped a few singles to get us there but not many 2's going, couldn't hit a thing once willey went,
on top of that i broke my little finger legging for the train!

Watched it last night with my lad. Keep wondering the fascination with hitting sixes and risk getting caught (which happens regular) rather than looking for fours and keeping wickets in the bag til later. I kept saying to him just keep your wicket, then boom Willey went, game changed. There was no need. As Captain he should have been saying look for ones and twos with the odd boundary and we're home. Gutted.

Massive overreaction (as usual) Lancs are a very good team. Hugely entertaining match.

Seven games remaining. still in a qualifying spot and players to return....calm down.
