If we beat Real Madrid in the Champions League Final 3-2, people would still moan about our **** defence.
Any attempt to explain and clarify will fall on deaf ears.
Its just fact that there are many who will forever moan and take the proverbial.
This is not a happy clapper perspective. Its fact.
Youd be better off sipping a glass of punk in the garden. Less hassle for sure.

Am I allowed to say that Watford paused season ticket sales too? I wasn't giving an opinion. Just providing some context.

Some early bird dates run longer too. Birmingham's being 9th July. So if it is a print/software delay it has to come after you've sold the bulk of your tickets, which makes sense to be shortly after the early bird window but not close to the start of the season.

All of this suggests poor communication again doesn't it. Perhaps the other clubs have done it for the same reason we have but they're smart enough to know how amateurish that sounds so they release statements saying that the club's will use the time to move seats around etc. We just release one saying essentially 'we are stopping sales to use a printer '.

They just really really need to improve the communication coming from the club because whilst the media output in general is good the communication of information is always poor and leaves people to think the worst. If they thought of how it COULD be perceived before saying things then it would go a long way to reducing how the club is often thought of as incompetent.

Maybe. Or maybe it doesn't matter that much and the world keeps turning and night becomes day again? We get upset a lot on here about things that really, really don't matter very much or even effect us a great deal.

Not really much else to say on this one. If the info helped give clarity and calm even one person down, then mission accomplished in my book.

It's really as simple as this. IF the club wishes bit to be seen as incompetent then it needs to improve its communication which leads to the accusations of incompetence. If it doesn't care because the world keeps turning and it really, really doesn't matter very much or even effect fans a great deal then that's fine but they must accept that that attitude will mean accusations of incompetence will continue

Unless the club plans on basing me in California and sponsoring my Visa, then nah I'm alright.

Why do you ask? Because I'm not bothered about things that have little effect on me?

Since your very good interviews during covid you seem to have changed into having a go at anybody who has anything to say against the club whether they are right or wrong just seems to be coming over to me as arse licking. Thats all. AT first I thought it was covid getting you darn but its been going on for sometime so maybe not covid and this is just the way you are.

You do seem to swamp threads.

Haven't had a go at anyone in this thread. I just pointed out that the pause happened last year and other teams have announced similar, and it was a Ticketmaster instruction not the club choosing to pause. Also not sure where I've 'had a go' at anyone regularly? Please point out examples as I wouldn't want to be doing that. It'll happen now and again, naturally, but I wouldn't want it to be as regularly as you've just suggested.

I get involved in way less threads these days than ever to be honest. But the ones I'm involved with tend to go on for pages and last a while. You consider it arse licking because you've got a different opinion. What often gets forgotten and discounted is that my view isn't universally positive about everything and that I've been as critical as the next supporter in print, in writing, live on radio, live in video, live in forums, etc. Directly at the CEO as well. Others get way more praise and positive feedback and they've only ever typed what they think and offer zero commitment to doing anything other than being behind a computer or phone complaining.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately, and the appetite I have to be 'out there' taking pelters from fellow supporters across multiple internet platforms regularly. Where you sit, as anonymous MrsHallsToffeerolls is a very different place to having some of the accusations that come my way. Not just on this website. I try and be open, honest, as respectful as possible, but how often does that come back to me? Gets a bit tiring because I don't hide behind an online moniker and am pretty easy to find, so instead when people criticise with what are basically lies, I'm just now offering to have a mature conversation in person. Take away the keyboard warrior antics and have a grown up one on one conversation over the phone or on TEAMS.

I'm currently 0 and 10 in people accepting. Funny that.

Was more on about since covid and opening up, not this thread in particular, as for sitting behind my moniker I had to give name and address years back to join on here don`t you have access?

If you have been thinking about it then maybe you must be asking your self questions about the way some people see you. Has for having an opposite view from you that isn`t always the case
and I agree with you.on some things not others. Maybe its just the dog with a bone way you go about things , like Supertyke only on the other side of the argument.

Asked a serious question and off you go. Keyboard warrior antics indeed,

Probably somewhere. But I'm not talking about admin rights on here am I? I'm talking about public domain putting yourself out there, real life, real name, etc.

Disappointed you ended your post with this comment. Thought I'd given a fairly honest and open response to your question? Not sure it was keyboard warrior like in any shape or form.

I would counter that and say that literally all I read is anger and vitriol aimed towards the club.

I honestly don’t think supporting Barnsley is for you my man. The effort you go to, to get angry and infuriated about literally anything and everything involving BFC (and football in general for that matter) is absolutely unreal, I don’t know how you have the energy.

Stop with the facts. I'm here to attack the club for every single thing they do, because it is always wrong, they do it on purpose and no other club in the universe is as bad. /s
