Ramsay is a laughing stock at Man Utd among fans. He was brought in as set piece coach and Utd didn’t score from one single set piece till I think one of the last games of the season

It's like the Kane nonsense last year. He did well, Really?
They likely have a bigger budget than teams. 5 points behind Accrington

Youve lost me? Cheltenham have a very small budget to get the put of league 2 and keep them out is a good achievement credit were its due. I stand by what im saying so many assistants and u23s head coaches from premier league teams have failed in football league management.

Would you be happy if we appointed Morais?

I'd like to see what he could do with a pre-season.
I thought he was dealt a tough hand the last time. Along with Poya I don't think WE the fans see that.

If they're playing twice a week then it's a proper training session a week and video work. What can you do with that?

If Ramsey was that good surely Salford would have been interested given Nevilles connection to both clubs

Any decent head coach would have kept that squad up that morais inherited hecky was sending us down but morais was the nail in the coffin. As for poya ive never seen a more tactically inept head coach ive heard even the players were baffled by his team selections and tactics aswell.

    I don't like looking back.

Paul Heckingbottom was the reason Paul Conway .... didn't trust the coach with transfers. HE brought in Matt Mills then left leaving us with someone that the club didn't want in any shape. I spoke to Mr Conway a year later and it was still annoying him.

Heckingbottom also had the best player in the squad by a million miles that season in Barnes. So it's unfair to compare apples and oranges.

i didn’t say he was bad or good I just said he is a laughing stock among Man Utd fans as he was hired as a set piece coach and Utd had the worst set piece record in the country since he was brought in. I am sure he has many other qualities

Found this in the middle of an article on the Athletic, from this morning:

Championship side Barnsley have looked at an approach for Ramsay over their manager position but he will continue at United.

Looks like another out of the running.

Had 6 months as set piece coach, under Olly was given dedicated time at end of each session, this was stopped in Jan when 3 coaches left under Ranganick and became part of team responsible for warming players up before game.

So, set pieces and warming up before games. And he's a choice for manager? It's like making the lad who collects the post and does the shredding the CEO.

I agree about hecky having a nightmare and was as much to blame for our relegation... i seem to recall morais using mills on a few occasions though... sometimes you have to look back so you dont make the same mistakes again.
