I don’t think stern is even in the game anymore, is he? Some kind of ‘life coach’ or summat I think. Could be wrong…
It's not the prospect of Warnock managing us that worries me. I'm more worried about the prospect of Kevin Blackwell as his number 2, especially given the way that Blackwell behaved over the Hume incident when he was manager of Sheffield United. I wouldn't want Blackwell anywhere near our Club.
That’s a very fair point. The thing is though, it’s well before most of the Board’s time. Maybe not Jean, but not sure how much she would hold a grudge. Probably not like us lot.
I can't imagine he'd either be truly considered given the suggestion of continuing with a high press youth development philosophy, or that he'd be too interested in taking it. And I really couldn't face his style of play.
We should have pushed the boat out for him last October/November. We may not have stayed up but i would have fancied our chances more than that wet blanket we had. I think the Warnock ship has now sailed.
WARNOCK should have had the job after the last kick of the season he'd have been able to get shut of the dead wood while at the same time looking at players to get in through the doors for next season and he would have got us promoted.
Its always been suggested that Colin has some sort of liking for our club, although Ive never really believed that. It angers the hell out of me though that they brought Asbaghi in, when Colin and various others were better options at that time. But no, we insisted on appointing a man who din't have a clue and who eventually looked like he din't even care. Well done Conway & co.
Warnock if he signs would only need to be here 2 or 3 days a week, his staff would do the training etc Warnock would just get them up for the games and direct stuff from home on video calls to the board, players and staff.. He can do that at 73 and it would work for us. He is exactly what we need.
Might be why he's rejected us, we're dinosaurs when it comes to technology compared to him who just asks the grandkids!
