meanwhile, the daily mail are commenting on 'left-wing activists' protesting, and telling prince charles to keep his nose out of political affairs
Interestingly on a daily hate report. Allegations of tensions between the two men echo reports of the strained relationship between the Queen and Margaret Thatcher when she was PM.
Just a thought. These people are transported on civilian Airlines (please correct me if wrong) The people handling those flights and the aircraft crew have a choice whether to take part or not in those flights. Further to that should their respective unions Make a case for their members, to avoid confrontation with said individuals. ? I would certainly have made my views plain to the hierarchy of the unions. Picked up on this whilst trying to find out. 2017. Activists blockaded the non-commercial runway at Stansted Airport to stop a mass deportation 'charter flight' to Nigeria and Ghana.
Agreed, but not by me, therefore I feel no shame whatsoever for these shyt hawks actions. As I've said, they don't speak for or represent me at all.
But when you say "we" it's not really the case. If labour were even average, these leeches would be rightfully ousted in a heartbeat.
i don’t disagree with you there. At the same time we need to take responsibility. Nothing about his character or what he is like were hidden. We still went ahead and chose him over the allotment guy so shouldn’t be any surprise that he’s led us to a complete shitshow.
If wishing made it so. Apologies for the Americanism, but it was the simplest response to this nonsense. I’ve been voting since 1980, for the vast majority of that time we’ve had a Tory government, elected by a minority and behaving like they speak for the majority. Meanwhile factions in the left have battled over the heart of Labour, we’ll get a labour government when lefties realise that Perfect is the enemy of good. The only time in my life where there’s been a ‘right’ majority is the Brexit vote, and it could even be argued that lefty Brexiteers were enough for that 2% swing.
Get where you are coming from but I'd argue it was lots of normally middle of the road labour voting racists that swung the vote. Most people I know of. centre left/left, voted remain.
no lots of elderly racists are the reason we got Brexit. Has for elections since 1980 for 35 of 42 years Labour has been led by centre right centrists. It’s not my fault they cannot convince people of their argument. That lies directly with them. Starmer is a new low. No personality or policies. He has a supportive media and PLP so if he can’t convince that’s on him and those who support him. Blair reneging on his unofficial promise to implement PR has destroyed the country and gifted it to tories.
So what is your solution to get rid of a government which exports the worlds most vulnerable people to Rwanda, rips up the good Friday agreement, removes the UK from the Human Rights charter, does nothing to stop the cost of living crisis, not to mention the sleaze, wasted funds, cronyism, law breaking and corruption? This is not a time to argue about the perfect government. It's a time to vote for whoever the likeliest local candidate is to beat the Tory nominee. We're literally starting from ground zero and you may not like Starmer, but you know he'll be a damn sight better than the incumbents.
So we all have to wait for Jimmy’s perfect Labour Party, and if it doesn’t happen, it’s labours fault we’re led by a minority party with a more sensible core following.
Posted recently that this lot are voted in by people like us, working class people who somehow are deluded into thinking the Tories represent them...Labour need to work hard to find out why that delusion exists...
Alot of people I know and others that I have discussed this issue with are of the same conclusion. This will not be popular. 1. Tell the world with immediate effect that the UK will not accept illegal immigrants. 2. Any that arrive on UK shores will be returned to their own countries or the countries that they came from, or placed on one of the islands off the west coast of Scotland and told to fend for themselves 3. Ligitimate Refugees will only be allowed to stay for a temporary period or like Ukraine when that incident reaches a conclusion returned home. All applications to go through official routes. 4. Minimal benefits given 5.Visas given to priority employment/ occupations ie doctors nurses drivers etc. It's about time this country priorities lie with our veterans, people in poverty, the disabled and the unemployed. We know its a small ialand we can't continue as we are. Our NHS is suffering, social services are suffering and education sector is struggling these are just for starters. I expect a backlash but unless people have a better idea. Property prices are rising, refugees and immigrants need housing that's before we start building then that bring its own issues such as protests because we're building on green fields. I've not even mentioned cost of living etc. I get the tory knocking but would Labour and tories do any better without spending or leaving the door open for all and sundry to walk in etc etc. Remember we live in a democracy we the country voted the tories in. The only other option is China, North Korea or Russian as examples or you could look at Germany 1830 to 1946 as an extreme. We all have a vote, if you can't get off your arses to vote then keep your mouths shut if things go wrong or not as you want.
It's pretty simple. It exists because of a lack of education in this country. Same as in the US with Trump. To talk sense to people you need an educated electorate. Educated voters are much less likely to vote Tory. The Tories know this, hence the cost of third level education rising each year. They're trying to keep people away from educating themselves to vote differently. Also Labour could do with a charismatic northern leader.
Every time someone blames the underfunding of domestic social issues on immigrants Priti Patel has an orgasm.
you expect a backlash? fück me sideways so you should with the utter tripe you’ve just written. People aren’t illegal. Immigration does not cause the issues you seem to find it guilty of.
