Yes because that’s definitely what I said. You middle of the road types have run Labour for the last 40 years. Again it’s not my fault that this is, in the main, unpopular. If you want people to vote for rehashed Blarism then make the argument. Convince people. Don’t blame the people you can’t convince.

For my part I rejoined Labour to vote for Starmer. He stood on a centre left platform so not my politics but I was happy to compromise to keep the broad church. Unfortunately he lied to get my vote and now I am an ex Labour Party member and will never vote for Labour while he leads.

Say someone like Streeting stood on a centre right Blair ticket and won fair and square on that basis I would if necessary vote Labour. He won’t because no one running that position would win.

Honesty matters. Starmer lies as frequently as Johnson. So we are where we are.

i voted for Starmer in the leadership election in the spirit of compromise. He lied to get my vote and has broken every pledge he made to get my vote. So I’m clearly not going to vote for a party led by him.

I’m not a centre right Cameronite like Starmer so his party don’t represent me. It’s not my role as a member of the electorate to make Labour appealing. That’s their job.

You may vote from hatred. That’s your choice. I vote for positive change so will be voting Green. I will be canvassing so if we fail to convince enough people that’s on us. At the same time if that gets the tories in that’s on everyone who voted for them.

For every single seat at the next election where the Tories win with a minority of the vote against opposition split between Labour, Liberal, Greens then each of those parties and every single voter who refused to vote tactically should hang their heads in shame.
Day after day the Tories damage our country. Day after day people come on here and vilify them for it. If the opposition to Johnson and his cronies don't unite then we are dommed to repeat the nightmare over and over. It's f***ing ridiculous.

Why blame the electorate for the failure of politicians. It’s hardly our fault if no centre party stands out from the rest.

Tomorrow Lab/LibDem/Geeen/SNP/pC could announce an electoral pact. Could commit to PR and coalition Government. That’s in their power. If they don’t that’s on them not on the electorate.

    1982 - 2022 Kinnock / Smith / Blair / Brown / Miliband / Starmer.

Corbyn with his brand of mild Scandi socialism and Foot are the only exceptions during that period.

5 years out of 40 where the centre right didn’t run Labour.

    That’s not a controversial opinion.

Starmer does nothing to unite the Labour Party he continues to persecute those on the left , ignore party rules on selection of candidates, lied to get the Leadership vote and hid who was backing him financially until the leadership vote had finished . It was a no brainer for Labour to pick a local candidate from the local party for the Wakefield by-election instead we get a candidate rejected by 4 other constituencies, makes claims he is local when he isn’t giving the local Tory candidate an open goal . This is the Starmer Labour Party doing their best to lose what should be a Labour walk over . Vote tactically by all means but this Labour candidate has alienated half the Labour voters in Wakefield, I think Labour should still win as the Tory vote will split between the plethora of right wing parties but they aren’t helping themselves

Post starts off with the despicable abhorrent flights to Rwanda and ends up with Labour supporters tearing each other apart.

What? Tell you something anyone sent to any Scottish island would be treated with utmost compassion and respect. Those people are escaping violence and persecution few of us could ever contemplate. And to put their children in danger coming across the channel in a dingy must take some guts. Certainly a choice I’d hate to make.

I pretty much echo what everyone else has said to you, to be honest. Oh and "alot" is not a word. It is "a lot". Really isn't that hard! Maybe one of those pesky immigrants could teach you English :)
