Is that really required? Nobody hates El Ahmad. Some posters, me included have merely questioned his abilities where he's made some significant mistakes, particularly in terms of his communications. He's approaching a year in post. Hopefully he can show the significant improvement that some of his fellow inexperienced predecessors did after very rocky starts. Because crikey we really need him to get the next few weeks right.
Maybe hate is too strong a word. So I've edited it out. But I'd say not believing a word he says. Questioning his use of the english language. And not fit for the role because of that is deplorable, Making up an agenda when not in receipt of the facts. Going on soundbites and making accusations that are so far from the truth. Are despicable. I reckon I'm not far from the truth. 1 poster in particular when proven wrong. after making false allegations. No apologies, Disappears until his next attack. Name calling when totally unnecessary. You may not do that. Most people put a reasonable statement out there and If i agree., I'll say so. For those that have an agenda. It's not worth the debate.
I understand where you're coming from in regards to this board. But the abuse I've seen him take on twitter is nothing short of disgraceful - especially about how he looks and speaks - which has absolutely no bearing on how he does his job.
Khaled was way below par in many respects last season but he had Conway in the background. He's got the manager recruitment right though, as far as that we got our target. There's some other encouraging signs too. Fingers crossed he's starting to find his feet.
I’ve personally nothing against how he looks or speaks, I just think he’s an incompetent CEO. Until he makes up for all the negative stuff he’s done I’ll carry on thinking that, he’s got a lot of work to do and if he can get it done fair play to him. Time will tell. In the back of my mind though I shall always find it hard to trust him running the club with what went off in his past employment.
And that's completely fair mate. He deserves criticism where it's due, just like the players deserve it. But there's a line between that and abuse/just being a ****
Interesting how some people who claimed he wasn’t fit or qualified for the job are now saying they didn’t really say that at all. I think what you’ve posted above is fairly accurate and fair, and nothing more than a realistic assessment of some of the comments that have come the CEO’s way.
Khaled has been pilloried on here from Day 1. Its been embarrassing. The lad takes on a new job under the most difficult circumstances and all he gets is full on criticism for pretty much everything he does. From Day 1. Even when Loko has been on here and posted stuff in an attempt to clarify (not defend) what Khaled has said / done he's been pilloried also. All that kind of stuff shows this place up in its worst light. We should be better than that. This is not me trying to moralise but it's an attempt to try and persuade posters to lessen the vitriol and be more considered. Khaled deserves all the patience and support which Michael Duff needs. That's how to rebuild.
Completely useless employee but he no way deserves abuse. I’m sure he works hard and he comes across as committed.
