    He was superb all weekend but that round today was sublime.

    Was it 17 from 18 greens made? Didn’t blink when he dropped shots, remained composed, and the shots from the bunker and in the rough/on the path within the spectators were phenomenal.

    Full deserved and should see him kick his career on now. The extra 20/30 yards of power he’s developed has helped his game massively.

    Shameless name drop, but when I played with him last year it turns out he’s not from Sheffield and this was confirmed by his dad.

    Matt Fitzpatrick was born in Tankersely, so for all this Sheffield nonsense he’s actually Barnsley born.

    Massive Sheff United fan but we agreed his second team would be Barnsley.

    As an aside a genuine good guy. So happy for him and Billy.
