Doesn't say what for, specifically, but been charged along with Rhian Brewster after post-match disorder following the play-offs against Forest. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-61912436
Not saying he is guilty in this instance but this is the problem with any legal system- it should be equal for all but money talks.
How can they say that? It was caught on camera and the footage cannot be taken the wrong way. It is as clear as it can be yet they stick up for them.
I wouldn't be surprised if Sheff United are wanting him to be found guilty so they can terminate his contract
In this instance I don't think all things are equal. Ollie McBurnie had legal access to the field of play, football supporters did not. That's not attributing guilt or innocence or giving footballers carte blanche to give anyone who strays onto the pitch a good kicking, but it is a factor in this.
Marlon King Chris Morgan George Santos/Patrick Suffo Ched Evans Oli McBurnie All fine upstanding human beings.
Just to confirm, charge is common assault. https://www.mynewsdesk.com/uk/notti...ir-due-in-court-over-football-disorder-450177
Simple defence this one. If the prosecution allege that Mcburnie was aiming for the fan, then Sheff Utd should have enough footage to show that Ollie hasn’t hit a thing he’s aimed for all season.
