    It's gone too far.
    I'm happy with the 3-day / 5-day traditional game.
I enjoyed when they introduced the 1-day game.
I like the idea of T20, as it is a short game and helps introduce the sport to other countries (i.e. they're building stadiums all around the USA right now to support a T20 competition).
However, do we need The Hundred and this new format?
P.S. I went to the Cricket Sixes in Hong Kong once, before T20 was created. It was a similar format to T20 and was a great day out,

Ridiculous. T20 would be easily short enough with proper enforcement of over rates.

What's next? 50 balls, 40 balls, 20 balls? Why not just let the players have 1 ball each......

waste of time all these new formats.... let's just have a ******** game of cricket :):)

Getting that way mate. I don't mind 4/5 day. One dayers. And I reckon T20 has certainly engaged the fans and provided a lot of revenue.
    But
    The 100. Not interested.
    IPL Not interested
    60 ball not interested.
Yorkshire and England are all I'll watch. And hopefully the 100 will become one for the addicts and eventually fade away. And the Windies can have the 60 ball format if they prosper from it.

Introducing the 100 was pointless when we already have county championship 50 over and 20/20 competitions.

    Totally diluted game now.

Assuming it is actually the cricket you`re going to see and all the other things surrounding it is incidental then you`d struggle to get me from Barnsley to Leeds or Manchester/Nottingham to watch a game of 10 overs a side

T10 is already a tournament and seems pretty pointless, even the hundred doesn't float my boat, went to 2 last season, wasn't bothered that the superchargers lost 1 bit, can't even remember the scores, and won't be returning this season, now if the ECB did a T10 with the proper county sides and made it 4 innings per night then that would be better, revamped T20 but that's got to remain due to world T20s
Like posted above its a fair treck for 90mins action where it's not as fast paced as a footy match

I think it's stupid, probably dreamed up for making a fast buck on tv.
I have a better idea though. Why not have a county based competition which could be played on Sunday afternoons, starting at two o'clock, 40 overs per side, played at the grounds all over the country rather than just the main county grounds. You could call it the Sunday League or get sponsored by, say, John Player. More to the point it could be on main tv rather than Sky or BT.
I don't need to take credit for this idea, but it was just a thought.

With regards to slow over rates in test cricket i would personally bring in penalty runs per over to the batting side for every over under 90 not bowled by the scheduled close of play time.

Little known fact. Before WW1 the USA played test cricket.

Also, the USA is still the reigning Olympic Gold Medal holder for Rugby XVs.

I believe the team consisted mainly of the Stanford University American Football players.
