Is it just me who thinks this is really poorly written? Yes, could've been worded better. It makes no sense- it should say, "Please note that Barnsley Football Club particularly welcomes applications from...."
Yes could have worded it better. Not so sure 'particularly welcomes' works either. But I get it. Positive discrimination is illegal. Positive action is legal.
This is from the first NHS job I found. Pretty much sums up what I was trying to say. It should be the best person for the job, but encouraging under represented groups to apply is the right thing to do: "We are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace and aim to reflect the diverse communities we work with and positively encourage applications from all sectors of the community."
For all we know the missing word could be disregards Even the bit below was badly written "All online via email by responding to name contact below" Is that named by any chance?
