I had a run in with a couple of ‘Homeless/Beggars’ call them what you will. Anyway long story short I was asked at 3am if I had any spare change for bus fare. After informing them I had no change I was pushed over from behind hitting my head on the road, managed to get back to my feet before 1 of them stuck the boot in then a bouncer who had just finished work intervened. Then tonight I’ve just called at the premier shop on market hill I got out of the car and didn’t even have chance to lock it before I heard “Excuse me mate” and turned round to see a drugged up ****** walking towards me so I said look mate I’ve change so **** off.

How long will it be before people take this matter into their own hands be BMBC are doing **** all about the problem

hope you're ok and wasn't injured too badly. You're lucky the bouncer was there so if you haven't already you should make sure you report it to the police

Hope you are ok but it’s a Police matter not a Council one, there’s no Homeless hostel or B&B will take a drug addict or alcoholic or someone with a history of violence

Not all the homeless are violent thieves. They often ask for change, but don’t usually get arsey when change isn’t given. They aren’t there as a career choice, but bad decisions/circumstances have put them there.

I’m really sorry about the experience. You do need to contact the police though.
