Hes signed for the Turkish team Goztepe.Good luck lad ,get your career back on track, I'm sure you will.
Not sure if he fits within the guidelines. But not 24 while September. Compensation entitlement Under both the Premier League’s and the English Football League’s (EFL's) Rules and Regulations, a club signing an out-of-contract player under the age of 24 is (subject to the former’s club’s compliance with certain requirements) obliged to pay compensation to the former club for its training and development of the player. I wonder if the offer of a new contract was a requirement. ? Couldn't apply to Vic I assume as he was 24 in January.
I might be wrong but we’d get compo if to another English team but not European- so nowt from the Turkish club. Good luck to him
Hope he turns it around over there. Let down by the club this year - a midfield that was way off the quality and experience required. Made each of them look worse than they would've done otherwise.
It's a brave move ,moving to a new country and league but if it works out for him,it will be so enriching.
If he thinks inflation is bad here i hope he has inflation in his contract. Turkish inflation currently running at 74%.
Good luck Romal, you were coming along well under Val but last seasons comedy double act did you no favours , hopefully your game benefits from the move & your life experience of moving to a new country serves you well , all the best from me.
I think we might be able to get something if he transfers back to an English side within a certain time period ( maybe1 year). Seem to remember something similar with Danny Dichio when he left qpr and went abroad but came back sharpish.
That would have been the FIFA one where the club is entitled to something on every transfer up to the season ending of the players 23rd Birthday.
I really would be surprised if this worked out for him, but hey ho, good luck lad. His career took a nose dive last season, mainly due to two terrible coaches, but I do think we have better midfield prospects than him, so no great loss in my book.
