This Big Geezer playing against Murray is serving some utter rockets. Murray has just won the third set via tie break - but he looks spent. I've no interest in Tennis at all - but always end up watching.
Nor me but generally watch the Brits until they are all knocked out. Was it Isner who was in that really long match that one time with another fella who serves rockets and they just kept going until midnight or summat daft then ended up finishing the next day?
Thought Murray was a goner 25 minutes ago, but reckon the pressure might get to Isner now. His serve is a proper weapon though.
I’m not a great tennis fan but I can enjoy watching it when the mood takes me. Tonight is interesting with Murray being involved but those big 140 mph serves does nothing for entertainment.
Murray is certainly not as fit as he should be to compete at this level. But to be fair he had done well to come back as well as he has after his operations and fitness troubles. Emma has found it hard to emulate her success of last year. But she has youth on her side and I’d expect her to make further progress soon.
Murray should retire. It's sad when you see top sport stars carrying on way past their prime, losing to people they shouldn't because they cannot give it up. Fair play to Raducanu who's rightly milked millions from sponsorship deals from winning a major. It will soften the blow of her woeful form ever since. On the plus side it's the most Brits in the second round since 1997. We've got some good ones coming through like Peniston and Draper. Katie Boulter looks over her injuries that have long hampered her and if Tennis doesn't work out for her she can be a body double for Jodie Comer

Radacanu, i think, has had two different coaches since her US Open win. Maybe that's where the problem lies?

The only ‘problem’ is that she won a grand slam very early on in her adult career - most would say she probably won it too soon. It usually takes natural skill, an established team, and a couple of years on the professional tour to reach that level. What she did was amazing, but it was a weak US open that year, her confidence was high after unexpectedly reaching the 4th round at Wimbledon, and the stars aligned. Of course she won fair and square and beat what was in front of her, but it’s almost as if the stars aligned. Unfortunately, the downside of winning so early means people will deem subsequent performances a failure for not reaching the same level, as well as pointing fingers at other aspects of her career as a direct result of the poor performances. Let’s be fair to the young, talented athlete and let her learn her game. Even if she never wins another slam she’s already done so much better than most!
He is but Tsitsipas behaved even worse than him and seems to have gotten a free pass because of Kyrgios' reputation.
I don't understand him at all because he has paid over a million in fines in his career and how many times has he changed the umpires decision? Youd think he'd have learnt by now to shut up, keep the money and argue after the event.
