    India will re group and come at England very hard first thing tomorrow.
    A couple of early wickets and it's going to be extremely tough to compete the chase.
    If Bairstow and Root can negotiate the first 30-45 mins then we should be all good.

    Don't get the love in for him. He's a grade A ****. Just no need for him to carry on the way he does.
    Not made a test century in a long time too.
    Would love Bairstow to hit the winning runs, run straight over and celebrate right in front of him. Kohli can dish it out but he's shown in the past that he sure can't take it.

    He's failing with the bat so I suppose he's got to be seen to be doing something, but as you said, some of the Indian fans have had enough and he's becoming a bit of a liability.
    No international century in any format since 2019 and just had his worst IPL season.

    Root plays as much as he is allowed to by England and has appeared in 3 or 4 games in both the County Championship and T20 comps this season before the international games started. Seems unlikely that Bairstow will play for us this season - he was away at the IPL during the period when Root was available to Yorkshire.

    I thought I saw yesterday that Kohli's overall test average was around the 55 mark and now it's dropped to 49.5. That's quite a drop off.

    I agree. Sky pundits and BBC pundits aren't half putting the mockers on. It isn't a forgone conclusion. Lose Bairstow and Root early and it could be a short days play. I don't fancy Stokes and Billings to see us home.
