A fit Carlton Morris is worth a lot more than £2m. But his knees are made of rice krispies, so £2m probably isn't far off his fair value all things considered.
Morris is a great player. Strong, quick, good passer, hard worker, good finisher. Take his goal return last season with a pinch of salt, because he had zero service and struggled with injuries. Therein lies his problem, he is prone to a knock or two. Otherwise he'd be playing for a team near the top of the championship. Well, I guess he was the season before last.
The fire sale as well truly started now . Morris, helik, mads, Collins and styles will be all gone before end of the month ! New board board same *****
there is simply no way we can afford to keep all these players on their current money. unrealistic to expect us to be able to.
You really, really need to calm down mate and put things in perspective. We will have to sell some of them. Unless you want to be the next Derby county? I'll tell you for nowt though, we won't get as much leniency as Derby have done. I think majority of fans figured it was time for Woodrow to go, best for all concerned. But now one of our players have been rumoured to move, it's a fire sale? I think, so far, we've done quite well in the transfer window - doing business early regarding incomings, getting our No.1 target for manager, new coaching staff. Every single club in this league is a selling club, we just need to make sure we get the right money.
footballing ability. Goalscoring. Overall contribution. Take your pick. Marsh excluded but you wouldn’t want to put too much pressure on him.
£2m would be shocking. He’s class. He doesn’t have any real weaknesses. He can finish, 2 footed, good in the air, strong, can link up play & can comfortably play in several systems. He’s far better than players like Winnall & Woodrow who might be excellent finishers but are nowhere near the whole package. We should be getting proper money for him. He’s far more valuable to us than players like Helik & Styles who are more easily replaceable.
Surprised the fee is true. Whichever club had a bid rejected wasted their time. Either match the Luton bid or beat it. Don't be coming in with something we would reject.
Considering he only has a year left, is on 6k a week and is very likely to spend as much time on the physios bench as on the pitch, I’m really not sure 2m is bad money. What would you say ‘good money’ is for him?
Why should we give them a love-in and sell them Woodrow and Morris on the cheap, what have they ever done for us ?.
Christ they love a tarn player. I expect a few sales but I expected styles helik and woodrow. If we sell them all. It will kill us.
In my opinion for what it's worth id say 2mill is no doubt not far off the clubs valuation, chuck in any add ons, such as x amount of appearances, future transfer percentage not forgetting the possibility of some other country finding out he qualifies to represent them, due to his paternal grandmother's dog having once shagged the next doors neighbours cat and therefore calls him up then that fee could rise big time ...whilst it would be good to keep him but, given the situation we are in, and he fact he's also some what injury prone, then I reckon Khaled should be applauded if its true ..rumour had it we paid in the region of 300k when we signed him,so I'd say its a decent bit of trading for once if true
Joke if we sell him for 2m Hold out for big fee or keep him. He’ll take piss in lg one. sell other players to make cash up
What would you say is good money for him mate? Injury prone, we need the money and only one year left on his contract, as one of the highest earners. What would realistically be good money?
