    Lurpak Spreadable - still can't spread it, tastes like half the product cos it genuinely is, we've just watered it down with actual water, but we charge you much more. Bargain.

    Aye' i had a mate that worked at bassetts and he said that bassetts and asdas own brand literally came out of the same machines but with different packaging..

    Both Asda & Tesco do their own too at £2:50 , they both have exactly the same ingredients of the Lurpak brand. Oh and Morrisons own brand is £2 :59 again exactly the same content as Lurpak.

    To be fair not all butter is identical as it does depend on things like the breed of cow and what they are fed on
    of course thats no guarantee that the butter Lurpak make is better quality than whoever makes the Aldi version
