Connor Hourihane confirmed on a 2 year deal. Also they are trying to conclude free transfer deals for James Chester Curtis Davies David McGoldrick and James Collins. Financially how?
Exactly what am thinking, especially Hourihane They probably be cheating system again, it's about time efl introduced a wage cap for all 3 leagues
So basically Derby are signing a team full of leaders and I’m not going to lie there’s a couple of them who I’d have loved in our team but we never go down that road unfortunately.
McGoldrick, Hourihane and Collins are quality signings for League One. Not so bothered about the other four they've signed.
As DS says. Probably 3x as much from season tickets as us. If average ST price is £300 8k circa £2.4m 25k circa £7.5m
20% of that is Vat though. Derby can’t offer a Direct Debit scheme yet either apparently, so tickets are currently having to be paid in full direct by fans.
It's being reported their wage bill last season was 12 million and they have to bring it down at least a third to eight million. So next season after nearly going bust they will have a annual budget as much as ours is in the league above.
