Did you see the King Charles play? If a monarch is going to be responsible for a constitutional crisis that ends the monarchy, he’s a good bet (and yes I know he won’t be King Charles)
Zahawi has just become my favourite Tory (is that even possible?). What a brilliant little move, you sneaky little prawn
I mean, there is no chance they will agree to an early general election after this farce so a lot of these MPs who are resigning are likely to be back in post once we have a new PM in the next week or so. If I was Keir Starmer now I’d just sit back and let the whole thing implode. I missed which Labour MP when asked if they would be pushing for a no confidence vote said that it’s not the responsibility of the opposition to rectify what’s wrong with the Conservative party.
I prefer Larry's take But seriously what sort of credibility do you have taking a job under a prime minister and less than a day later saying he should resign - whilst not resigning yourself This from one of the few guys who manages to be as dishonest as Bozo himself
Nadhim Sawahi yesterday Deliver! Deliver! Deliver, today ..... Johnson bumps into tea lady. "Does tha fancy being chancellor o't exchequer?" Nadhim's wife this morning "what's that want for thi breakfast?" "Porridge, porridge, porridge."
And Donelan has resigned as well within 48 hours of him making her Education Secretary. It'll be done in the next 12 hours.
And the Tories will still be left to run the country. How can that possibly be the case? All have proved to be inept. Surely the country must be allowed to choose the next government
I've been thinking for a while that Charles may be the start of the end of the Monarchy. The Queen as has ruled for the majority of people's entire lifetime. I have a feeling Charles is going to want to give his thoughts on issues much more and that will not play well. He Hopefully a change in leadership will build pressure for a election. However I fear the new leadership will distance themselves from this shambles and possibly win another election. Hopefully in a minority and the others can band together to get them out.
FFS the fool will remain in charge until the tories get a new leader and that might take until early October. This was said by Beth whoever on Sky news
