    Apparently, Ballance is to appear before the disciplinary arm of the ECB later this year along with Hoggard and Vaughan etc.
    Ballance is suspended from England until this hearing but not from Yorkshire.
    He has a contract until 2024.
    As Hooky says, he may not get selected for 1st team duties because of possible bad press

    His Yorks debut was also at Scarborough last summer in a Royal London cup game… he got a half century then so ……

    I would guess that Lyth has never carried his bat but then again he’s never played as sensibly before !

    Wouldn’t want him any other way though

    Lyth as a Whitby lad is at home playing on that coast. I like what Gough said last week about taking Shannon Gabriel for fish and chips and a go on the slots. I can just see them after the game popping to Papa's on the sea front and then in to Silver Dollars for a go on the one arm bandits :D Be careful of the seagulls though because they are worse in Scarborough as I can ever remember. The council needs to do something about them.....Oddly just a few miles down at Filey I didn't see any.

    They’re strategically crafty at Scarborough !
    2 of them carried out a joint offensive against my granddaughters hot dog a couple of weeks ago.
    They didn’t win as she quickly did a defensive manoeuvre into an Arcade.

    You will get a few at Filey by the seats near Inghams fish shop but they’re a more polite bunch and wait for contributions

    Looks a good crowd as they always get. Hope they brought the sun cream :D Currently a 109 partnership. As I said earlier keep them out there as long as possible. Surrey should be tired when they get their chance to bat and our lads are fresher.

    Watched a few hours, fantastic partnership from lyth & Tatt's and both getting tonnes and apart from 1 drop at slip not much danger
    Must be very hard work in the field in this heat though

    During the Fisher interview, he said he was sharing a luxury sea view apt with Waite and seemed to imply that both teams were doing similar.

    The Grand shouldn’t be licensed as habitable based on what I’ve been told
