It's more possible than white Labour who are still to even have a female leader.

Sajid Javid out. I thought he would've had the name recognition to do well. Perhaps he's paying for being the first to resign.

I've always thought he's a very poor orator and his sweaty launch at his press conference wasn't a good look either. Then you've all the stuff about his tax declarations and non dom status so his resignation will just have partitioned off another tory sect.

Having said that, looking at those still in contention, he was probably one of the better options.

There's really only Tugendhat and Hunt left who are more centrist and might scuttle the horrible divisiveness we've had since 2016, but I can't see either getting to the final two.

That attitude is what allows the nonces, perverts, tax dodgers and covid cùñts to keep their power.

More chance of me voting if Sauron, Voldemort or Ernst Stavro Blofeld were on the list.

Voted for Truss as she'll be a complete disaster and they will have no chance of winning next election

In the Russia Report it’s literally stated as one of their propaganda aims. Knowing that, even if you thought you truly believed it, would have to make you think twice, right? When it’s literally written in black and white that that was one of their aims.

If it was the whole of Britain voting, like it was all of America, then sure, they’d stand a good chance. However, it’s only Conservatives voting. I’m not saying they are all racists, at all, but they do have more than their fair share of them which makes a non-white leader unlikely.

Not sure I completely agree on this tbf.

Also, I’ve started to think that all voting goes against the obvious over this last few years, there’ll be a surprise ahead and it’s never the obvious/sensible winner in politics nowadays. If I was an MP with long term PM aspirations…. I’d genuinely look to not get on a cabinet bandwagon and periodically say sensible sounds bites whilst not quite being in the back bench shadows…. This leaves enough of a blank canvas for people to paint their own hopes and ideas onto….

For example… Penny M now being strongly tipped, but who’d have genuinely said this a week ago?
