    I think I might actually die. Definitely not looking forward to the 1 hour each way commute as my car’s a/c is broken and the 8 hours of lugging thousands of books around whilst stock taking.

    Not often the Met Office put out a threat to life warning. The weekend looks bad enough, especially Sunday. Get the curtains shut and drink plenty of duck wine.

    THB honest I'm used to it, Worked on the Monckton coke ovens & I once took a reading of 56c whilst on the oven tops :eek:

    I think I might envy it being 34!

    Was 25.5 degrees here overnight even with all the windows wide open. Now closed, curtains drawn.... still getting cooked even though it's "only" supposed to be 30-31 here today.

    It’s at work where it’s going to be 36, 35 in Leeds which makes no difference. Will’s hometown is only going to be 22 degrees, I might suggest a trip to the in laws.
