    Very unlikely, this one. Fake news generated by Barry Fry, I would think. Broom DID play his best football at Cheltenham under Duff and Posh spent a reportedly large fee to take him there in 2020. I saw some of his Cheltenham appearances on tv and he did look a dynamic and mobile midfielder, a good passer and mover who was pretty creative. However, he seemed to bomb at Posh (not sure why) and has been loaned out twice by them to Burton and Plymouth, in neither of which sides did he perform well enough to become a regular and neither side thought to turn the loan into a permanent deal, which tells you something. I would wager that Posh want to off-load for some cash before he drifts out of contract and he thinks that his former successful link with Duff might be their last chance of getting money for him. At present, he's no more than a poor man's Herbie Kane and I don't see why we would need him, especially as our pressing need is for a couple of strikers. We can't waste cash on a midfielder we don't need. No thanks, but a good player up to 2020.
