    It could be a shrewd signing, if the money's right. Might give us that bit of steel up front, and provide a good foil for a quick, fox in the box type. I'd not be going for any more than a 12 month deal though. He's one for the level we're at, and not a long term solution.

    Seems a massive risk to me. He's a 32 year old non-league journey man who will be taking up a place in the squad meaning we won't be able to use those wages on a different player.

    29 in 45 in L2.

    A goal every 180 mins for Ipswich in L1. Not just a non league goal scorer.

    Most of his Tranmere goals did come in non league though you are right with that. Better goal record in L2 than Winnall when we signed him for context.

    He went out drinking after a pre season friendly and was over the limit at 3 am. He will have been in a bad enough way for a member of the public to tip off the police. It wasn't his first drink driving offence either as the article states he did it in 2012 so didn't learn from that.
