    I’ll miss his never-say-die attitude…

i don't want a bridge thanks Jimmy and I'm not going to explain again how 38% is not greater than 62%.

Every signing is a gamble some bigger than others. Im glad our recruitment seems to have gone a little bit back to pre conway times. Instead of signing premier league u23s or the likes of oulare who had played for some big teams but hardly kicked a ball in 4 seasons.

I agree but were barnsley were skint, we have just been relegated so its highly likely clubs in higher divisions will come in for our better players

Again if you don’t think an owner who has a 40% stake in a business will have a major input then that’s incredibly naive. The 62% could just as easily become the minority with a change of proxy.

Just to clarify gas their been any change in who owns the club? A yes or no is sufficient.

indeed likely but nothing to celebrate. It’s not like us or the club will see that money. I don’t disagree with selling players to plug and funding gap but to think it’s a positive is just daft.

No Jimmy, the shares are still distributed among the same people.
That's irrelevant. Labour have a significant percentage of seats in the UK Parliament. That doesn't mean they can do anything.
There's people on here that have got a much closer insight into what is and has gone off in the boardroom. They said it was a hostile takeover of control. The new board have said the same. All the signals coming out of the club in terms of managerial appointments and bringing in players with experience suggest a change of approach.
I'll stick to believing what clearly seems to be the case. You keep believing in whatever you like.

I find all this really frustrating tbh. The gap in finances is there in black and white. The only place that’s coming from is player sales and getting rid of the top earners. I personally don’t see any other option, beyond plunging ourselves into even more debt. The consequences of which could be catastrophic.

Brittain - he rarely has anything to do with us scoring a goal, but watching him play makes me think that he's got a bit of class about him.

Good luck Callum. We'll be almost an entirely new team when we start the season!

He had a brilliant 1st season with us but completely flattered to decieve last term' he lost 2 yards of pace and when he set of down the flanks he was very predictable stopping and checking every time he came up against the opposing full back showing a complete lack of confidence' adding to that his attitude seemed a little suspect to me' all in all i don't think the lad has wanted to be here for a long while so its a good move all round' but good luck to him i hope he re discovers his form and enthusiasm at Blackburn...
