I'm off to tramlines this weekend. We've loads planned for Sunday, but got a few gaps Friday and Saturday. Anyone any recommendations from the line-up?

    Cheers in advance.

First time I have actually looked at the line up for this year having just seen your post and it actually looks really good. Kasabian are the best band I have seen live but I know the line up for them is a little different now from when I last saw them.

Saw them at Sheffield O2 Academy late last year with Serge as the front man. Still excellent and I'd deffo recommend seeing them.

Just looked at the line up. I would go see Sigrid who's a very good singer from Norway. Russell Kane is a funny bloke. James are a good act for nostalgia.

Annoyingly, Sigrid is on at the same time as Kasabian.

I’m going. Kids have told me Sam Fender, Kasabian and Bedroom High Club.
I’m up for Madness which, annoyingly is the same time as the Abba party.

Just seen that Ian Brown is on.
Not come across him for years.
    What will he do ?
    Old Roses tunes ?
I was never a great fan but admire artists having huge cult followings

Acts I've seen out of the line up and quick verdicts if it assists, depends on your tastes though:
James: good live act, get the crowd going
    Shed 7: Ok -ish
Kasabian: Awesome (but it was pyramid stage at Glasto - with old lead singer) probably still are awesome
    Vaccines: pretty decent
Madness: childhood heroes, bit underwhelmed, dialled it in
Reverend: seen loads of times, always good value, especially on home turf
Lady leeshur: Ok if you like that sort of thing
Kelis: better than I was expecting
    Scouting for girls: MEH

He was due to be there in 2020, but he's not on this year's line-up?

Not my cup of tea but Self esteem usually put on a good show and with her being local can imagine will draw a good crowd. If you're into craft beer and want a quick break from the festival then I highly recommend popping into pangolin craft beer shop for a pint. Just 1 min walk from the park.

That sucks. Poor planning by organisers to have two of the best acts of the day on at the same time.

Have I seen another year ?
