Seems to have gone quiet with regards clubs linked to signing him.

Last i heard was Turkey (Besiktas?)

He wants to move on and obviously playing international football has helped raise his profile no doubt.

The sooner this is sorted the better for both the club and the player.

Agreed. Him and Helik both need to be sorting out their moves pretty soon. Sounds like Helik could be close but, as you’ve said, Styles seems to have quietened a bit.

Could do with Ismael coming in for Styles!

Maybe if he doesnt get any bids we could keep him and use him in his preferred cm position with kane been out.

I think speaking out about leaving he expected to end up at Forest, but they went and signed someone better with Lewis O Brien.

I didn't think there was anybody better than Styles ... in his own head maybe.
He's the Bury BagLady don't forget.

Yeah he's a slag. I say that because he didn't have the decorum of Morris, Woodrow, Brittain and possibly Helik. He openly stated he wanted out. No better than Peter Odenwingie in my eyes.

That said, if he doesn't get his move he's our most creative midfielder if he doesn't sulk until his inevitable move in January.

I can see Styles still being here while January, which is no good for either player or club given he doesn't want to be here.
I might be in the minority but personally think he's vastly overrated......

Me too but I think he'd look good in the central midfield berth whilst Kane is out injured.

Wonder if Hudds might be interested given they have lost both O'Brien and Toffolo and Styles can play either of those positions? Not as good a move as Forest in the prem thats for sure but they have funds now given those sales and he fills either gap for them. He probably wouldn't need to move house either.

Sounds good but that would mean Dean Hoyle spending money. He gets away with a lot because he's a owner who's a fan, while a lot of his actions if been done by a foreign owner would have got much more press. Terriers are more clued up on him nowadays though. Like how the previous head coach left after only being able to spend cash on one player (Pipa) who ended up going for a profit.

I don’t get the rush re selling Helik and Styles. The window doesn’t close whilst 1 September, yet when we sell early in the window we moan because it is assumed we’ve taken the first offer that comes along. I know the bean counters have said we will go tits up if we don’t sell these players and yet the club have stated that we will only sell when valuations are met, which suggests they must have a further contingency plan ready in the event they are not sold.

Styles will be gone. He’s right to want the move.

If he wants away but is still here after the close of the window then surely he has to perform well to attract interest from potential buyers , if his standards drop then so will the interest .

It makes sense to hang on a bit with Styles & Helik, although it looks like a move back to Poland may be on the cards for the latter. They are the crown jewels of the outfield players & teams that have sold may be desperate for replacements as the season starts. They may need to sell to have the funds though. I'm pretty sure both will be gone as the window closes. We may have talked to Poznan to stimulate other interest. Who knows? If he wants to progress his footballing career, better to be in a large European League, if it's family & playing for the national team, I'd get it.

I don't understand why some folks (this thread and others) and seemingly disappointed/upset that Styles and Helik want out. Take the emotion we have as fans out of it and of course they'll be thinking I'll be playing in a lower division, in front of lower crowds, earning less money, potentially damaging my international ambitions. Oh and I'm seeking the best players in the squad leaving and be ok ng replaced by free transfers (who may turn out to be great, or not).
I'm afraid I'd want out too.

Granted he has played those 2 positions!.....but not as good as those 2 mentioned, he his so overrated....sooner he goes and we move on the better for me. He’s done well out of us and hopefully we do well out of him and get a good price for him!
