Can we agree that this is a good move by the club?

Reading between the lines then, Cheltenham, Bristol Rovers and Wycombe have agreed to reciprocal pricing.

    Fantastic news!

£20 is a fair price and still means season ticket holders make a substantial saving, so yes, all good here.

Club should get credit for this, and all the other clubs involved too.

We were quick on here to praise Reading the other week for their ticket pricing announcement so only fair we do the same for our own team. I think we know which teams will throw a spanner in the works with this......ahem.....3rd September.

    yep.

I have rarely had an issue with the ticket pricing over the years at BFC. Maybe its one of the reasons in more recent times that the club struggles with income, but it would be a brave move by the club to align itself to other clubs pricing strategies given the economics of the town.

yes, I'd love them to try go the other way with a Bradford City type thing, but that is more because I genuinely want to see more fans in the ground. The fact the club don't do that though still doesn't detract from the fact we have better than decent pricing.

This is a great move for the not yet renewed types (I’m one of them!). I’ll happily pay £16 per match and then, if the love has returned, I’ll renew my ST. If not I’ll pick and choose my matches.

I really hope to see something like the Stendal season again

When do we play Sheffield Wednesday?
    Bet it won't be 20 quid !!
Great move by the club though.

£20-22 is pretty solid. I would like us to make it a standard price for the season though. If you fleece our fans, we'll fleece yours has never sat well with me as a pricing strategy.

It's worse than that, it's "If you fleece our fans at your place, we'll also fleece our fans when we play you at Oakwell."

Whilst I agree with you, it's only £3 more expensive (on the Ponte and North stand when purchased in advance) if reciprocal pricing hasn't been agreed. So if we haven't agreed reciprocal pricing with Wednesday, it's likely to be £23 for a ticket at Oakwell, and £40+ for one at Hillsborough.

I think the aim of pushing reciprocal pricing, is to ensure that our fans are charged fairly away from home. If we said, we're charging £20 in all areas of the ground for every game, there's no onus on the other team to do the same.

Ok, that's me signed up for the first three. Got the same seat in ESL that has been mine for the last ten years @ £16 per match so happy with that so far.

Over to you Michael Duff and his new team. Entertain me. Thrill me. Make me want to come to every home match again. Do this and I will pay for a season ticket less the £48 just spent and look forward to another promotion winning season!

One odd thing - there is no option to get a downloaded ticket onto my phone which is what I have had with my ST for a while. I had to select collect at the box office which is much less convenient. Surely BFC can manage a downloaded version - Harrogate could this week when I bought from their site. I don't want to be carrying bits of card/paper around with me. It's 2022, isn't it??

I bought a ticket for the Cheltenham game yesterday and chose ‘print at home’, that option allows you to save to your phone as well as printing the ticket. It’s not that clear though

Dammit I didn’t know that. My printer is not printing sharp images at the moment so I don’t want to risk presenting something that doesn’t work. I will contact the box office to see if I can switch to download
