    Looks like Ramsay's already training looking at today's Twitter training vid.Why they aren't announcing him is beyond me !

    Why would a player be in a training session if he hasn't signed though? I admit I don't know much about the football recruitment process, it is a world I haven't been a part of. But surely the selling/loaning club would not want a player in a full training session with the new club until it is signed and done. Otherwise what happens if he gets injured etc.

    Same reason Jesus and Sterling had their photoshoots done before the respective clubs announced the deal? Or why certain players fly out to training camps to join squads whilst the formalities of the deal are still being agreed by clubs?

    It's probably 99% likely to happen. Everything agreed barring some minor details that everyone expects to be ironed out. But you wouldn't announce a signing officially without the ink on the contract/agreement.

    No I agree you wouldn't announce it until it is 100% done. You would be silly to do so. But I just don't understand why he is able to train with us if the deal is not done as until it is 100% done he is not our player so therefore should not really be training with the squad?

    Also, don't really get why the club have posted a video on social media with what appears to be him on it several times despite it not being a done deal and not being announced. It just seems weird to me.

    Maybe. I don't particularly fall out with it or care too much.

    If it's virtually a done deal would you stop introducing him to the squad and the coaching setup, or not film the players training, just because supporters might demand an announcement? I'd prefer him training with the eventuality he's going to be announced and sign, than pack him off home. Might be as simple as waiting for signatures and 'fax machines'.

    You do right to stop rumours spreading, I personally take them with a pinch of salt, when it comes to fees nobody apart from board level knows the fees, so when folk put fees on its laughable, but when things like this ramsay who has been here dissappears fans would like to know. So what has happened to ramsay?

    Well he's still at the club and training with the first team by all accounts. Maybe he didn't have second thoughts after all...

    We all would prefer him training as soon as possible, and you don't need to stop filming because he is there and not announced, just don't need to include him on the video. Bet they recorded most of the session that was from, yet chose to upload that short clip which just happens to have him in and then it gets fans wondering etc.

    Tomas was already here last season, he was signed in 2021. We loaned him out at some point I am sure, he has just signed a new pro deal.

    Jack was on trial and it was announced as him being on trial. Very different situation as it was clear that he was here for a trial with the view of signing on which he eventually did.

    Both were free agents though weren't they? I could be wrong as I've no idea who the lad is, but I thought he was under contract somewhere?

    The announcement is neither here nor there for me, but I can see why there would be issue if he got injured while training with us if he hasn't actually signed yet.
