In that case I'm afraid society needs to find alternative ways of getting young people off the streets and instilling discipline in them etc. I expect I'm in a minority here...
Unfortunately, the way things are going the only alternative that the world proposes is to take everything online, stick a VR headset on, and escape reality i.e. escape the mean streets and stay isolated from society in your home but at least you are safe. Then we can all reach a level of connectedness through the metaverse, where crime doesn't exist and where people can be their true, digital selves. As for the outcasts that don't comply, they will be left behind. Not for me I'm afraid, I'd rather stay in the real world. Although boxing has its dangers, I would rather live in a world where people can still take risks and have the opportunity to stand alone under their own personal achievements as individuals, rather than everything be sanitised and controlled under the guise of 'safety.' EDIT: not aimed at you @Brush, just the way things are going. People enjoy boxing, and boxers want to box, so I say let them continue
I watch a lot of boxing, follow plenty of boxers / boxing journos on social media & listen to a few boxing podcasts & these type of ‘fighters’ are barely ever mentioned. I think most real boxing fans just ignore them & barely acknowledge them. The only time I’ve heard much about Jake Paul is through the Tommy Fury fight that keeps getting delayed but I know nothing about him or how he fights. It’s irrelevant to me.
Oh, yes all the razzledazzle cums with the fame, it does help to av a pretty side for the photo shoots
