He has made two professional league appearances totalling 3 minutes and has made a total of 11 professional first team appearances, including the league cup, europa conference etc - a total of under 400 minutes of professional football. (According to transfermarkt).

But he’s 18 and from a premier league academy so he must be ace.

Does anyone else know about any relatively unknown players joining other clubs that we can take umbrage with? Has anyone called Harry joined someone or maybe a jake?
This game could go on for yonks

If he would just post opinions that would be fine, its the unswerving opinion and personal abuse that goes with it that that annoys folk!

Imagine a random Pompey fan taking a look at our forum and stumbling across this :D they'd be thinking, how on earth have they got 8 pages out of our unknown loanee?!

Henry Lawrence, right back signed for MK Dons from Chelsea on loan. We could have got him in for Brittain. Sack the board!

Ps i had to google him. He played 20 odd times on loan for Wimbledon last season. Can't be many who have played for both clubs surely..

He really isn't unknown though. He debuted for Spurs at 16 and lead the England u19's to the Euros this summer. Has been a regular in Spurs squads and talked about highly by their management especially Mourinho when in charge.

Would very much have expected him to go to a top Championship club.

Okay, not unknown (plenty on here including me hadn't heard of him mind) but you get my point. It's quite bizarre we've managed to squeeze 8 pages out of an 18-year-old Pompey loanee all because Phil has decided he doesn't like Norwood.

This just isn't true. He is unknown to a vast majority of fans, the average fan who just takes their kids and family to football. As someone pointed out above, hes played less than 400 minutes. People aren't then going to start watching kids matches to see him.

For what its worth, I love youth football, I love academy football, and I rate scarlett very highly. You mention top end championship club, there's a reason he's gone to a mid table league one club. There's a big difference between potential and current ability. Just because he could be a world beater at 26, doesnt mean he is now. And instantly slating our players and board before a ball is kicked because pompey signed a child from a top club is mental.

Yes because at the end of telling us what he had for his tea, he'd mention how it's Nareev's fault he didn't sign Wayne Rooney when he was 16 :D

Tea would be Scarlett having Norwood on toast. Somehow.

I hope he doesn't get banned simply for having unfathomable opinions.

I hope he doesnt get banned it only his opinion that we should have signed a 18 year old from spurs instead of norwood... time will tell if hes right. Dont get the jumping on every post by some posters just ignore.

The views on frimpong and mido are strange but he gets the reaction from many many posters. Are these really his views? Most likely does he like the reaction he gets? Probably.

Hemsworth's posts are far more entertaining than yours or mine.

As long as there's no personal stuff there's no harm in reading it.

You can't quantify whether he's right or wrong though, there's too many variables. We could have a season like last year and Portsmouth smash it and win the league by 30 points, for all we know Scarlett turned us down to join Pompey.. The initial opinion isn't the problem, it's afterwards when he starts slaaging off our players & board without reason, abusing/demeaning our players before a ball is kicked, that's at least what I have an issue with

For what it's worth I don't particularly care whether he's banned or not from now on, doesn't mean anything to me other than being flummoxed on occasion with the stuff he comes out with. I just see no rhyme or reason with some of his posts

Well if this scarlett ends up banging goals in for fun and norwood ends up a flop you would have to say he is right.

Id rather read his posts on bfc than posts about boris, brexit, corbyn, covid.... you get my drift. 9 times out of 10 i will read them and think what a load of ***** but like you say aslong as theres nothing personal no harm in it.
