Atmosphere looks amazing. Whatever the result today it has been a fantastic tournament. Hope England can do it, come on the Lionesses!

Have to disagree. I think it's great. It shows how well the competition has been marketed, but at the end of the day, compared to a lot of rubbish we are seeing in the men's game this is a breath of fresh air.

Do we really call the men's team collectively the lions though? It isn't lionesses as opposed to lions that seems weird to me it's the nickname for the team in general if that makes more sense.

Actually do we call them the lions? Just thought perhaps we do and I've just blanked it out. I've always considered the lions as being on the shirt rather than a name for the team.

Here's to hoping they don't fall at the last hurdle, like the Men's team. They got past the Semi-Final banana skin with ease, so I'm feeling positive.

    Go Lionesses!!!

    The three lions isn't it?

The Lions is a multi national rugby union team.

Oh I love the competition. Been a fan of women's football for years. The weirdest thing for me about the Euros is seeing Fara Williams as a retired pundit when I can remember her debuting as a teenager. In fact it's surreal to think the England women's match at oakwell was before she'd even made her debut. We need another one and soon.

The name though doesn't feel 'right' to me. I don't dislike it or anything it just doesn't feel natural like how it doesn't if someone calls us the colliers

Anyway we better bloody win. I'll be outraged if we're only the second best team in the whole of Europe

Currently, ESPN+ has no audio, but at least I have a picture.

Will the lass from the Wellington Street Chippy get a runout?

Does it matter a jot what we call the men’s team?
The Lionesses is a name that has stuck for the women. I don’t get why we constantly feel the need to draw comparisons with the men.

As a kid I thought female lions were tigers. That can't be just me though right? That was normal? Right? Right?????

Jesus. I was talking about the NAME for the national team, it's not that deep.

Now I've lost the picture too, but at least they've acknowledged that they're working on it.
