That's fair, but what we don't know is whether there are attributes that he has that will help to get the best out of Norwood, Aitchison or Iseka.

Was being speculative and hadn't given it much thought. He's torn his ACL anyway hasn't he?

Usually a player will take 20% of their contract if they're going to walk in to a new deal straight away (which is a touch more than £150k). Oulare doesn't have that luxury given he's injured and nobody really wants him on their books.

If he's done his ACL I'm guessing he'll be back on full pay from his parent club and also be entitled to receive medical treatment? Is that how it works or does the loaning club still have an obligation to pay their share and provide treatment?
Christ, he has to be the worst signing in our 135 years history.......

Ethan Pinnock was at Dulwich Hamlet for years. Wonder what he's doing these days?

You’re reight it is Conway’s fault Oulare is on our books, but whilst the new/current board choose to act like he doesn’t exist and continue paying him a wage (most likely our highest now Woodrow has gone) then they’re no better. As a poster has pointed out to you in long run getting shut of him whether that’s paying him off, even though I wouldn’t give the oxygen thief the sh’t off my shoe, would save money in the long run. It’s just stupid saying we need to sell so many players and reduce our wage bill when we’ve still got someone on our books practically pinching a living off us.

If you are at all in doubt of the ability of a footballer to see out his contract just watch 'Sunderland 'til I die' Jack Rodwell is the epitome of this situation

He signed a 5 year contract in 2014 on roughly £60k a week. Only after four years and only 76 appearances did he agree a compromise and walk straight in to Blackburn. If a player has no hope of replicating his contract then hanging around is one massive benefit of a long contract.

Clubs sign players on long contracts hoping to maximise the value on the sale of the player, the flip side is that the bad signings can hang around and take the money for as long as the contract lasts. Why would anyone accept a fraction of contract value if they have no hope of replicating the cash elsewhere?

Could we hire him a private jet and make sure he's well insured...

RWDM: Obbi Oularé injured for several months - BX1

RWDM: Obbi Oularé injured for several months

The 26-year-old striker has torn the internal ligaments of a knee, announces the Brussels club.
Arriving last January to relaunch his career at the RWDM, Obbi Oularé hoped to start the next season with ambition. The Belgian striker, however, suffered a serious injury in training this week.

After medical tests, it was revealed a tear of the internal ligaments in one knee. This means an absence from the land for several months, at least. Already seriously injured during his spells at Antwerp and Standard de Liège, Oularé is again on the sidelines.

The RWDM, for its part, wishes him "the best possible recovery" and will certainly have to find a replacement in attack.

From what found on fotmob those 2 goals and 1 assist were from 20/21 season. No goals or assists just 2 yellow cards for 21/22 season.

I think there's something about signing on fees, or some other payment on top of wages, that gets paid at the start of every year in a contract, which makes it easier to offload players when they're in their last year and have recieved the last of their additional payments.

Absolutely no chance of us offloading Oulare while he still has 2 years left. Maybe next season.

Maybe the stats and subsequent video footage show him to be an excellent foil for a player like Norwood.

Fk knows how he’s managed to do that by only playing 5 games last season.

Must’ve slipped on the kitchen floor on the way to the fridge?!
