As soon as saw the photo's of his cars, watches, plane and diamonds I thought Grant Shapps,( or Micheal Green or Corrine Stockheath or Sebastian Fox ) or whoever he is today. As others have said, I hope we got the money up front. Just to add, I don't understand crypto currency or any of the article about Hex, total gibberish to me.

But the people on here who are the most critical i doubt most have any business knowledge, some wont even go to games.. higgy gets jumped on for voicing his controversial opinions but at least he goes. A few days ago the club got slagged off for selling helik for 2million euros then duff gives a interview saying bids have been rejected hes still injured..

I think Duff said an offer a little while ago was rejected. And also tried to put some distance between any rumours suggesting it was for the club to accept or reject and it wasn't really to do with him.

I don't go and for very good reason. And I'm sure others are in a similar situation. Be thankful its safe for you to go.

Noticed this too. It’s the same on Twitter also. It’s either lots of bot accounts or freaky crypto fans. Very strange either way!

It’s all well and good having these sentiments - where do you draw the line though?

What type of company is and is not acceptable to sponsor the club?

And is the priority to get funds into the club to keep it solvent, or to only accept funds from a source which is ethically acceptable to all factions and groups?

Is this company making money out of miserable and struggling people chasing a dream? Yeah probably. They profit from someone else’s risk. Doesn’t sit that well with me and and I will not be utilising their services.

    But what is the alternative?

There are moral arguments against accepting sponsorship from this company, and also gambling firms, fast food/junk food companies, soft drinks companies. Alcohol manufacturers. As a football club are we to expect them to close the door to all such opportunity? When our competition has sponsorship adding to their funds and we hardly had anyone bashing the door down to get on the shirt?

This might well go base over apex, I’ve already said I wouldn’t be surprised if the logo isn’t on the shirt by the end of the season.

But I don’t see what the club should be expected to do here other than take the money on offer. Beggars and choosers etc.

Aside from there being zero attempt to actually explain the gobbledegook of the press release to the average punter, this company comes across as extremely dodgy.

I hope that fans aren't going to get bombarded with texts and emails from HEX as consumer data would seem like exactly the sort of thing they'd be in it for.

If there is any sniff of them not coughing up the cash, it may be time for heads to proverbially roll
