Excellent today. Particularly first 70 minutes after which he possibly ran out of steam. Perhaps we have a player there after all.

Yes - Looked a lot better.

Thomas was the best player on the field for me today. A much deserved man of the match.

Much better from him this week, looked more assured when Connell came on too.

Agreed Thomas mom,Benson did play a lot better.I think alot is mentality they can't go chucking teddy out of cot when they go 1-0 down.
Now to set up,we were alot better when Styles went to lwb and Connel came on.I just think we need a brick ---- house up front and a proper rwb.

I was going to post similar - for the first 25 mins in centre mid he was poor but once he went out to LWB he was back to being a decent player again

The good thing was no one stood out as being poor today. Even Cole looked decent when he came on

Styles looked utterly p:ssed off that he was there. His body language when he came on the pitch for second half, and then when he got moved to the left was awful. Just looks like he’s carrying on sulking. I wouldn’t even play him next week. He clearly doesn’t want to be here.

He did look like that when he was first told to go there, definitely. I thought second half he knuckled down and did well. I don’t blame him for not wanting to be here if it costs him his place in the Hungary side.

I do hes a 22 year old under contract play for the club your contracted to stop sulking play well enough and clubs will come calling. One of our poorest last season and really has shown little since val left. I heard he wants to play center midfield last season and told the club that after val left but i agree with fired if he is sulking leave him out no player bigger than the club

Ultimately though, that's his own fault. If he performed to a high standard in midfield, there would be no issues with him playing there. If he was outstanding, Duff would have put williams to left and fetched on Hondermarck on the right, where he's been training. But he's been really, really poor in midfield.

Apparently there hasn’t been a single bid for him, so mebbi it’s his agent he needs to be bairning at. I expect 100% from him as long as he’s paid by us.

Don’t get me wrong, I want him to play for the shirt and do a good job for us, but he certainly wasn’t culpable in us appointing two absolute dinguses as head coaches last year. I can only assume he got his international call up based on performances the year before.
The only reason I have sympathy is if he’s been told he won’t get picked whilst he’s in league one. He’s proven he can do a job for the national side and picks Hungary despite being eligible for a couple of countries

I think both schopp and poya were terrible appointments but some players need to take some responsibility styles never had a good game in center midfield Blackpool away him and benson in center we may aswell not had a midfield.. in wing back he wasnt great either. Needs to get his head down perform be a standout in this league and he will get his move and his call ups.
