Just watched the interview with Julie Anne on ifollow.

Interesting comment she makes about next seasons kit, already selected but going to take some doing getting approval from the EFL.

Also lots of collaborations with new back of shorts sponsor kid super who is a fashion designer from Brooklyn

She tagged them in her Instagram post yesterday (https://kidsuper.com/).

Could be a really exciting collaboration this one. Whether the fan base get on board straight away might be a challenge.

i like the yellow bell bottom ones,I can just see Barnsley coming out wearing them. They'd be no good for Cauley Woodrow though he wouldn't be able to pull them up enough.

As long as this KidSuper brand isn’t ran by scammers and cultists like the other new sponsor it’ll do for me!

No way will we see anyone from Barnsley in any of their gear though, £180 for some loafers with faces drawn on… worlds gone mad!

That’s why you bring them in to work on design rather than their own gear. Imagine the challenge will be influencing Puma who have the contract. If it comes off it will be a bit different, but there’s nothing wrong with that, and I’m sure the youngsters will love it.

More often than not things are more successful when people have an opinion on it, rather than just being ‘meh’.

Really Interesting interview, I don't and didn't know anything about her but found some of her ideas doable. If she is still here when the Youth Zone is built in town, she could be a good advocate for it and young people in the town.

Think young uns now are more into Stone Island and stuff similar but get what you’re saying. How long do we even have left with Puma? Never seen it mentioned, seems like we’ve been with them close to a decade now. Change is long overdue IMO.

I think certain youngsters are, but there’s loads that aren’t.

I could tear apart the follow video. I don't like a lot of it. Also don't like the editing. Always strange that.

    But

Does she mean they are looking for the shirt collector community rather than the Barnsley fans? think there's a team in Italy that are big into it for example.. Venezia FC been one.

    Shock shock. Horror Horror.

Of course you could. Because you’ve got a pre-determined opinion and now you go in search of evidence to support it. Rather than the other way round.

It's arrogance, Ben. I wouldn't have it from Mads Anderson or Conor Hourihane. Roy Keane is another. You listen to off the ball and they say we say Keane wrong yet he doesn't have the arrogance to say I'm not replying to you if you don't pronounce my name correctly.

    Arrogance.

You been a boxing fan? Have you ever heard Eddie HEARN talk about when the Americans call him HEARNS? He just laughs it off. It's funny to him and he doesn't say I'm not replying to you because you have said my name wrong.

What on earth are you going on about?

Roy Keane, Eddie Hearn, getting names wrong.

Have you listened to the Ifollow video?

The names I've picked out are names people pronounce wrongly either side of the ocean. There will be more.

Did you ever take up the offer of a placement at the club, all those years ago?
Could have been you doing the editing.

It's utterly bizarre, though incredibly exciting, to hear we will collaborate with KidSuper and that maybe he will design the kit for next season. I work in fashion and this one of THE coolest NY brands at the moment. Like others have said, it ain't cheap though. There will be a lot of press around it if it happens.
