Incorrect. BFCST answered questions direct from supporters yesterday lunchtime on Twitter.

I also posted yesterday saying that I personally had spoken to the club before the avalanche that came late Sunday afternoon.

Am assuming he means 'employee' and reading between the lines could be referring to Caitlin (Twitter)?

Yeah employee. Reading the replies to that Bleed Red account that's mentioning it and saw this.

Thanks for clarifying. There are very few things in the life of BFC that all fans unite on. This feels like one of them.

CEO (or CE0 probably more apt in this case) is the Accountable Officer and so the buck stops with him. Given his 99.9% role this is something that he will have negotiated or sanctioned and approved.

If it has then gone to the Board for ratification - we don't know, as we don't know the club's Scheme of Delegation (if it has one) - it has gone with his recommendation.

The only real alternative (but less likely) scenarios are that (a) one of his staff (eg Marketing Director) has brought it in but for something of such prominence and importance if that has happened without his knowledge and oversight then Khaled's culpable in the position he's in; or (b) one or more of the owners has brought it in over his head - which would render Khaled's position untenable anyway.

Clearly, whatever has happened, there has been an inadequate (if any) risk assessment.

Can we have some assurance from the club that absolutely none of the personal details that the club holds about us has been or will ever be made available to Hex or any of it's vile Trumpian hangers-on, please?

I don't think any amount of PR can turn the dial on this, but it's important the club initially confirm who is actually involved as a matter of urgency before moving on to further updates.

'These men' as referenced in the tweet you shared don't run HEX. Profile and clout is huge in the crypto space, and they'll do anything to position themselves as a leader within these communities to cash in the benefits later down the line as 'influencers' - including pretending they brokered a sponsorship deal on behalf of the company.

Not a like for like comparison, but if we were sponsored by Carling we couldn't then be judged on what views a Carling drinker has. These people, especially the one with the truly awful views, are hopefully nobodies.

As you're effectively asking are the club following GDPR regulations, you'd like to think that given maximum fines are £17.5 million or 4 per cent of annual global turnover, whichever is greater, that our details are safe?

Yes, agreed. I guess I'm also worried that the club's systems 'defences' are adequate to withstand a 'cyber-attack' from a frenzied Hex-world that may become angry if/when we decide to terminate the deal.

Richard heart isn't a nobody though. he's the cult leader. and his direct responses have completely enabled the avalanche of sentiment from this hex 'community'. it's akin to Donald Trump lighting the blue touch paper to his fanatical supporters.

I can only see this getting worse. the Club have to act.

I suspect I've not seen everything here but this doesn't look clear cut - obviously the guys making those comments are scumbags, but are they actually part of Hex? Or just the weirdos following Hex online and trying to associate themselves with it.

If the founder has made comments like this then they need to go ASAP. If it's an employee, it's possible they could salvage it by firing him. If Hex don't want to discipline a guy who said those things then they're trash and need to go.

Either way, the club need to jump on this and Khaled needs a statement out to reassure us that they're investigating it.

I wouldn't be surprised if this group who I believe are American in origin were approached / introduced / recommended by some of our investors given they are also American and involved in the investment industry I'm not saying they were just it wouldn't surprise me if that turned out to be the scenario.

But in the tweet we're talking about, from Caitlin, it shows a Saudi tweet from Richard Heart that is supportive of gay people. It's just been butchered to be shown on it's own.

The other ones, which are genuinely obscene, are from nobodies. That's all I'm saying.

Typical American reply though isn't it? Lacking a bit of finesse and all bull in a china shop like.

Logs on Twitter, sees his name alongside dozens and dozens of tweets being accused of homophobia, from a tweet that was the exact opposite of that, and replies along the lines of 'Are you mental'.
