Doesn't make me a fan, but Mayweather and McGregor tweet that stuff out all the time and people lap it up. Slightly different, but the bragging of wealth is the same.
Ar young en wanted both kits but in his own words ‘colours dunt match shirt and Al look daft’ so he now wants the Man City shirt instead. usually I’d be disappointed by this, but due to the club selling out and Khaled ******* everything up as per I am fully supportive of his decision.
I'll worry about that when we choose to be sponsored by either of them, and therefore directly associate the club with such views.
Yes, it was. An ex-footballer, Francis Green, was having a bit of a go at one of one fans and saying how he’s played against us a few times and something about taking one of our players to the Premier League or summat. He’s excited because this deal combines his two loves of football and crypto. To find out who he is (he doesn’t have his full name on Twitter) I clicked on to his profile and saw that he had been tweeting about Brent and how it was thanks to him that we had this sponsorship. He included the tweet I shared earlier within that thanks, where Brent thanks those other two accounts.
Can't find it. I know it was on the site Saturday when I last looked but can't see it now. Must be blind or my desk top has a good taste filter fitted.
They aren't sponsoring OUR CLUB though are they. Barnsley is a town full of people who work hard often for low pay and for the club to be associated with a person who demeans people like us is an insult to us and the town and sadly that's not the worst thing about these people. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to be removed from their position of responsibility at OUR football club.
I was pretty sure it was, but wanted to be certain, thank you. So to clarify, for those who have asked, the two posters who have been referred to as nobodies on this thread were directly thanked for making the Hex.com sponsorship deal happen by Brent Morrissey. Brent Morrissey has been quoted in the article announcing the Hex.com deal. https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2022/august/hex-front-of-shirt-sponsor/ The Tweet has since been deleted.
So it's now 1pm on Monday afternoon and the **** storm about this started on Saturday evening, yet the CEO hasn't even issued a holding statement saying he's looking into it. Once again the silence from BFC is deafening.
Yep. Hold my hands up as I totally missed the quote from anyone connected to HEX in the article. They still don't run the company though, and their actual involvement is unclear, which is why clarity is needed ASAP from the club around what they plan to do about it.
You can't have the sponsor on your shirt if you're a child. Same rules as betting companies and sponsorship. Club shop also said at the weekend you can choose with or without still.
Well that’s good, but either way the club has gone down even more in the fans estimations. The plug needs pulling and fast, this has got coverage all over the world and non of it is positive. There’s a YouTube video going up tonight by some young crypto kid who’s going to put them and show how it’s a scam, yet we’re walking around with it across our shirts. I honestly think Khaled must leave the club, had he ever done anything right?
